New Google Panda Updates

What is up with the new Google Panda updates?

The new Google Panda update on October 13th has caused quite a stir in the internet marketing forums. From most of what I have read it seems a lot of websites that were ranking well for the better content they were providing got hit the most. Many references to how people have noticed their best sites being replaced with made for adsense websites and/or garbage spun content.

I have noticed similar results with some of my better sites as well. After a previous Google Panda update my organic Google traffic dropped nearly 50% overnight, only to recover almost a month later. I am hoping to see this happen again since that same website of mine lost 70% of it's traffic with the newest update.

Of course many are already making speculations about what google is doing now and how to keep up with them to obey all their rules. Google has definitely become an internet super giant where marketers and website owner rely on. Just remember not to put all your google eggs in one basket! You never know when your hard seo working efforts can be instantly squashed by this giant.

My strategy is to just ignore the drop in traffic and keep working on my quality of on-page and off-page seo. Usually after my sites dance around a bit they land in higher positions and stay there too. Of course results vary sporadically with all of my sites so it is very hard to judge still what turns Google on or off.

How did the newest Google Panda Update affect your website(s)? Have you seen any recovery yet?
